The explaination for my disappearance

Its been 3 weeks since I've seen so many people of different nationalities gathered in a single place. I've just come from the Land of the white, tall and slim - Slovak girls are known to be the prettiest of all Europeans. I can't say the same for the opposite sex.

Right now, I'm in the Land of Hommus, awaiting my flight to Singapore after a 5 hour transit. I'm sitting here, sprawled on a couch wiping waffer crumbs off my cleavage. Its not everyday you walk around in a backless top with your bra and tattoo showing, in a muslim country where most of the women walk around with Batman complexes.

Slovakia is not as backward as most people think. In fact, they play the hippest english tunes on radio, stock their shops up with the latest fashion, and have more alcohols on their menu and cheeses in their supermarkets than any I've seen in Singapore. You can't find cabbies off the road - you'll have to call them, and they arrive in 5 mins. Like chauffers, only they scruff at you. The weather was cold and refreshing, with temperatures ranging from 2 degrees C to 12 degrees C. In fact, I was prodding around my apartment in cami and panties. The downside of cold weather is that you'll have to pad up to double your size, and it could reach a point when you begin to wonder if its the clothes or the excess weight from the fried cheeses and meat platters. That's hypothetical though. Really. Sometimes I don't know what I'm talking about.

Moving on.

We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon, and after an hour's trip from Vienna Airport, arrived at Bratislava - capitol of Slovakia. Until this day, I've never heard of Bratislava, didnt know where it is on the world map, didnt know its right next to Vienna, which to my surprise, is part of Austria, which was once controlled by the Germans (but don't even mention the 'N' word - you'll get snipped) So you see, this goes to show that knowing your History and Geography are very important. History saves you from repeating deadly mistakes, while Geography points you to shopping paradises you can't miss out on. Who cares about precepitation and cumunolumbus clouds!

Speaking of rain - it is extremly important to get good shoes. They save you from frostbite from walking barefooted on ice cold pavements, should you ever suffer from 3rd degree blisters from new leather heels, from ALDO, for example. Also, it might help not to shave - according to my Biology teacher, hair keeps the human warm by trapping air between the strands, thus protecting us from the cold temperatures, winds, blizzards and anything of that sort. Try it!

Not all Slovaks speak English. Approach the younger generation and you'll be safe. However, all Slovaks know 1 word - "SUPER!" Use that when all else fails. To add on to the effect, trust your thumb in their face and grin widely while saying it - it immediately creats a cross-continental bond and they'll forgive you for disrupting their space, you eccentric foreign chinese you.

So, the 3 weeks whizzed by in a flash, with 1/2 the time spent at programs, 1/4 in pubs, and 1/4 sleeping. In fact, out of 21 days, we had only 2 1/2 days off. The daily routine consists of waking up, cooking meng's sausages (the type from the packet), rushing to the program venue, talk coach heal flash-time, freeze, dinner, drink, sleep. And on it goes.

Nonetheless, it was a lovely trip, with beautiful passionate spirits on the way to building a powerful community in the country. We'd be heading back in March - coaching, dedication and training technology that actually WORKS is much appreciated and sought in one of the fastest growing economies in the world. I wouldn't consider migrating there though - nothing beats home.

I'm scratching for the itch to be over.

Its been 4 and 1/2 months of frolicking around and under the noses of many a specimen of the males species, at times nearly getting sucked into the uncomfort and no-turning back of that deep, dark void we know no end to. Some call it, the other end. As gross and odd a metaphor that is, nothing is going to sound as odd as this...

I think, I want a boyfriend.

For selfish reasons, of course. It starts there, doesn't it? Until I find someone who's really worth my effort, since the last few were duds, to say the least. It is admittedly unsettling though, to once be a wildchild who refuses to let anyone control her, to one who wants to experience the overwhelm and danger of a love she just can't handle. Playing with fire will always have its thrills, unfortunately, having started young, the being once again craves the indulgence of an element known to consume and create.

I'm bored, to say the least, and waiting for something and someone to sweep me off my godforsaken size 6 feet.

In the last 4 months, I've effectively gotten involved with 5 boys, of which, all were disappointments:

#01 was just plain selfish.
#02 was just painfully crude and unforgiving.
#03 was just playfully man-whoring.
#04 was just, painful.
#05 was addicted to pain. His pain.

I'm getting tired and impatient.

I need a man. Who's intelligent, ambitious, talented, with an ungraspable tinge of attitude. And while the above mentioned do posses these to a certain extent, they were missing the whole point.

And that is,
the power and beauty of the human connection.
My last 4 months only proved again to me, how easily butchered and abused a state it as derived at.

I'm waiting. Surprise me.
